She earned her Bachelor’s in Business Management (with an emphasis in Accounting) from Sonoma State University. She spent over six years in public accounting and has worked for companies such as GE Capital, SPL Worldgroup Consulting, and Oracle.
Leaving corporate life to raise her daughter, Monika founded DFS in 2001. In 2004, she became an Enrolled Agent and in 2013, she received her NTPI Fellow designation.
She serves as Treasurer of River Hills 2 Office Condominiums and was previously Director of Communication for the Texas Society of Enrolled Agents.
She was awarded the Charles R. Goodnight Memorial Award for Excellence in Education in 2021 by the Texas Society of Enrolled Agents. She recently served on the board of the Southlake Chamber of Commerce for 3 years.

Katie is a Texas native who has spent much of her life in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in Psychology and minor in Neuroscience. She loves problem solving and takes pride in offering excellent customer service. In her free time she loves going to festivals, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
Yvonne is a Native Texas born and raised. She has over 25 years of bookkeeping and accounting experience with an Associate degree from TCC in Business Administration. Yvonne loves watching baseball on all levels, especially the Texas Rangers – even when they are losing. In her spare time, Yvonne enjoys seeing her grandchildren and exploring botanical gardens. She was raised to always treat others as you would like to be treated, and does her best to live by this rule. She looks forward to meeting and working with you.
Allison is a born and raised Texas native. She graduated from Lamar High School and is currently enrolled to complete her Bachelor’s degree. She is also on her way to becoming an Enrolled Agent. Allison possesses a background in bookkeeping and has transitioned to focus almost solely on tax. In her free time, she enjoys venturing off to try new restaurants and breweries, watching various sports, and has recently taken on golfing as a new hobby. At every chance possible, she loves to spend time with family, friends, and her three dogs (Whiskey, River, and Anna).
Amanda was born in New Hampshire and grew up in Saginaw, Texas. With over twelve years of customer service experience and six years in management, she takes customer satisfaction very seriously. Amanda says “I look forward to taking care of our clients and ensuring that they are comfortable in our care.” In her spare time, she enjoys making memories with her husband and daughter. Some of their favorite things to do together are going to the arboretum, the botanical gardens and anything outside! She also enjoys cooking, painting, reading and cheering on the Dallas Stars!
Jen has lived in the DFW metroplex for over 30 years. She graduated from Carroll High School in Southlake and completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of North Texas. Jen is a huge sports fan, loves to spend time with her niece and nephews, loves live music and is always looking for local pop-up events.
